How to Take This Marriage Crisis Test:
Please read the following statements and ask yourself it they are true of your marriage. Check “yes” or “no” in the accompanying boxes to mark your answers as accurately as possible. Once you are finished, add up the total number of “yes” answers to see how your marriage is doing.

- 1 – 3: You may not be in crisis yet, but if you keep heading in the direction you are going without getting at least one hour week help, your relationship will continue to go downhill.
- 4 – 6: Your marriage is in trouble and needs a professional intervention. You need more help than one hour a week counseling can provide.
- 7 – 9: Your marriage is on its last leg. The Intensive format (multiple days in a row) is needed as soon as possible. Regardless of what counselor you see, make sure that you chose a private Intensive, verses a group. You need the entire time focused on just your marriage and your issues.
- 10 – 12: You two are hanging by a thread. You need an immediate marriage intervention. Pick a counselor that specializes in working with couples in crisis.
